Safe Haven Launches Doggie Donation Program

Now there’s another way boaters can give back to their furry first mates. By simply sending in a photo of their dog with their new Safe Haven Systems boatlift, the company will make a $25 donation to the dog rescue group or shelter of the owner’s choice. Company president Keith Rogerson made the announcement.

“We feel very strongly about helping abandoned and abused pets,” said Rogerson. “This program is our way of giving back to the community.”

To participate, boatlift owners just email or mail the picture to Safe Haven Systems, along with their name, dog’s name, location and local group or shelter they wish to support. The company plans to showcase these photos on its website.

Rogerson and his wife, Linda, are involved in their local Low Country Golden Retriever Rescue group and have fostered more than 200 dogs over the years. One of their first foster golden retrievers, Tripp, won their hearts and is now the star of the Safe Haven marketing campaign, including product literature, commercials and DVDs.
